This officer was discovered during a very questionable traffic stop which left the Columbus, MS Police Department's Assistant Chief clueless as to why this occured in the first place. The officer was belligerent, hostile and disrespectful leading to questions about his criminal background.

2010 - "Demarco L. Easterwood, 23, of 165 Dowdle Road in Ethelsville, Ala., was arrested Saturday at the Gator Club by sheriff”s deputies. He was charged with having an alcoholic beverage without a state permit, having an alcoholic beverage with intent to resell, and possession of stolen property"
2013 - "Demarco Easterwood pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen firearm. He was sentenced to five years probation; and a $1,200 fine"
2021 - "On December 6, 2021, Defendants Pickens County, Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, Pickens County Jail, Hall, Carr, Wilburn, White, Young, Hill, and Easterwood tortured Mr. Foster after his arrest at a traffic stop. Defendants tased, struck, beat, and choked Mr. Foster. Mr. Foster later died from the brutal injuries Defendants inflicted upon him" - "Defendants Hall, Carr, Wilburn, White, Young, Hill, and Easterwood excessively assaulted, battered, beat, tased, and strangled him and intentionally refused to provide adequate medical assistance"
